In 2018, I was brought into a project to create a mobile application to help train nurses on how use a device that delivers white blood cell booster to help reduce the risk of infection during strong chemotherapy.

This device allows patients to receive their dose at home but itโ€™s important that itโ€™s applied correctly by the nurses and this is where most of them were failing to do so. Which were bringing a lot of patients back to the doctorโ€™s office.

The training experience consisted in allowing the nurses to go though a simulation of the device application using training tools โ€” device, skin cube, and syringe โ€” that were connected via Bluetooth and recognized by the app.

I was responsible for the interaction design, visual design and branding. I executed journeys, wireframes and prototypes that helped translate the app features.
