In 2016, I started a personal project to create a MVP of an app that allowed dog owners to quickly find a fordable care takers they can trust. I mainly wanted to connect dogs and people. I developed a research plan that consisted in finding out what were the biggest issues to dog owners when they had to travel of have to leave their dog for long period of hours.

I also explored a few areas like budget, platform or apps to find boarding places and trust towards care takers.

The outcome of the research was creating personas that represented the audience main goals, motivations and pain points. I used the personas to ask and answer the questions users may have which informed me how content should be structured and what kind of features were needed to address their behaviors and motivations.

The next logical step was to create user flows, to make sure users could get from point A to B and that things made sense.

In the final and third phase, I developed wireframes which slowly moved into more defined iterations of the interface. As I moved through the process, I was constantly validating the flows previously defined with the use of quick โ€œtap-throughโ€ prototyping.

I developed both, branding and visual design of the product that was translated into a presentation deck to gain buy-in from future investors and stakeholders.
